Rentals among the outcrops
Homes here wrap around big volcanic rocks and mature gardens, so remodels and seismic retrofits are common, and both run well on a standard porta potty. When the finish trades arrive, a handwashing station keeps painters and tile setters off the household plumbing while the bathroom is out of use.
For a garden party or a graduation on the terrace, a deluxe flushing unit gives guests a cleaner stop, and an ADA accessible restroom keeps the day open for older relatives. A larger celebration on a flat lawn can take a compact restroom trailer where the site has room to set it level.
Squeezing onto a Berkeley lane
The lanes twist between rock and hedge and park tight, so we work out access before the truck heads over. A driveway, a flat pad, or a cleared spot just inside a gate all work, and we bring the unit in where the truck can turn without scraping a wall or an outcrop.
If placement lands in the street, the city may want a permitted space and an encroachment permit could apply, so check with Berkeley first. Tell us the grade, the gate width, and where the level ground sits, and we will set the unit so it stays put and clear of the walk.
The North Berkeley cadence
Our trucks reach Thousand Oaks on Tuesdays and Fridays, which sets the rhythm for cleanings and swaps. A one-day event is dropped ahead and collected right after, while a retrofit or remodel runs on weekly service so the unit stays fresh for the crew through the job.
Book the date early in the warm months when garden events and outdoor projects stack up, and we will hold the right unit and a trailer if you need one. We would rather send exactly what the lot can hold than crowd a narrow lane with extra units.
