What hillside owners rent
Rebuilds, retrofits, deck and retaining-wall repairs and defensible-space clearing keep this ridge busy, and a single standard unit staged at the top of a drive spares crews the climb on steep terraces. For a long remodel, owners often step up to a deluxe flushing unit with an interior sink.
View-home weddings and milestone parties are common up here, and for those we bring the climate-controlled restroom trailer with flushing stalls and sinks, plus an ADA accessible unit and a handwashing station so every guest is covered on the deck.
Setting a unit on a terrace
Flat ground is precious, so we find the one level pad, a driveway apron, a turnaround or a graded shelf, and set the door to open across the grade so it never swings downhill. On fire-aware lots we keep the unit on firm pavement, back from brush and dry grass along the edges.
Many homes here sit below the street behind a steep stair or a funicular, so the top of the drive is usually the only reachable pad. We set the unit there and, for a deck event, position the trailer where guests reach it on the level rather than climbing between tiers of the lot after dark.
Threading the ridge streets
The switchbacks off Highway 24 and Tunnel Road come with low limbs, one-lane stretches and gated drives, so tell us the approach when you call. If a truck cannot make the last hairpin, we set the unit at the nearest safe point and keep it as close to your work as the terrace allows. Foggy mornings mean we work slowly on slick pavement.
