What Portola sites and events rent
Portola keeps our standard porta potties on infill builds, garage conversions, and the ADU work reshaping its hillside lots. On a remodel that runs long, a deluxe flushing unit with a sink keeps a crew comfortable. Neighborhood gatherings and workdays near McLaren Park do well with an ADA accessible restroom so every visitor is covered.
For a block party, a quinceanera, or a community event along San Bruno Avenue, a handwashing station beside the units keeps food lines clean, and the climate-controlled luxury restroom trailer is there when the occasion asks for it. Give us the count and we match the units to it.
Placing units on Portola's slopes and lots
Portola streets pitch and turn, and the lots are narrow, so placement takes some thought. We set units on firm, level footing with the door clear of the downhill side, tucked beside a garage or along a fence where they stay out of foot traffic. On the steepest blocks we position the unit so the truck can reach it without blocking a driveway.
A note about a gate, a low garage overhang, or a tight curb cut lets the driver plan ahead, and the set goes smoothly on the first visit.
Getting a truck across to Portola
Reaching Portola from the East Bay means the Bay Bridge and a run down through the city on 101 or 280, the same approach we use for Bayview and Visitacion Valley. We stage those crossings around the worst of the traffic so a first delivery still lands when promised.
From drop to pickup, a Portola rental keeps to a steady rhythm: we place the units, service them on the scheduled day, and haul them off when the job or the event wraps.
